In the last month of 2022, the Bank of Canada raised the interest rate again to 4.25%. The median house price and number of sold properties in Ontario were down. The housing market is cooling down and turning into a buyer’s market. The average sold price is lower than the average asking price. So, if you find your dream home, don’t be shy and ask the seller to give you a discount.
